What is the Standard Asset / Cadet Kit (SA/CK) and when should we deploy it? 

The SA/CK is our transitional, arms-free sleeping bag built for active babies and toddlers. As soon as your baby shows signs of rolling over independently (typically around 3 - 4 months), safe-sleep protocol mandates moving out of arms-in swaddling. The SA/CK delivers the familiar core security of the TSS Swaddle while giving their arms complete freedom of movement. 

What size and height ranges are covered by the SA/CK?

Asset (3–12 Months): Fits babies up to 80 cm in height.

Cadet (12–36 Months): Fits toddlers up to 100 cm in height.

Both sizes are cut with a wide bell-shaped lower profile to allow full, unrestricted leg kicking and support natural hip development.

Why is the zipper offset rather than straight down the middle?

The offset zipper eliminates hardware pressure on your baby's chest and protects their chin. A straight center zipper often bunches up and rubs against a baby's throat or neck when settled. Offsetting the zip track curves naturally along the torso, keeping the zipper pull away from their mouth and making bottom-access nappy changes smoother and ergonomic in the dark. 

What fabric is used and how does it manage temperature 

It is made from a premium bamboo cotton blend (2.5 TOG Lab Certified) engineered for high breathability and natural thermal regulation. The hypoallergenic fabric wicks moisture to prevent overheating during hot Australian nights while retaining comfortable core warmth during cooler winter shifts. 

How should I wash and care for the SA/CK Sleeping Bag?

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and line dry in the shade. Always zip the bag completely closed prior to washing to protect the zipper hardware and keep the bamboo cotton weave in peak operational condition. 

Off-Axis Side Zip Architecture: Most sleep bags run a rigid zipper straight down the center chest right where tummy sleepers lie. Our off-axis routing moves all hardware to the side seam, giving The Asset a smooth, uninterrupted chest panel for total rolling comfort.

Stealth Extraction Access: Two-way Zero-Disruption Zip design allows full bottom-half access. Execute rapid nappy swaps without exposing their torso, unzipping the top, or triggering an acoustic wake-up call.

Heavy-Duty #5 Zipper System: Oversized, industrial-grade zipper track and custom pull tab engineered specifically for adult hands. Operates silently without catching or jamming during low-light operations.

Hi-Vis Signal Indicator: Features our signature Signal Green Dot at the zipper base. Allows instant visual orientation of the zip start point in dark rooms without needing to blast overhead lights.

Primary Wash: Machine wash cold on gentle cycle.

CRITICAL: Fully close the #5 zipper before laundering. Leaving the heavy-duty zip open will cause the teeth to catch and wear down other garments in the drum.

Drying: Line dry in shade to protect the bamboo matrix and prevent fading on dark colorways (like Lights Out Black). Low heat tumble dry only if necessary.

Restricted Chemicals: Do not bleach or dry clean. Harsh agents destroy fabric elasticity and irritate skin.

Deployment Sizing (Height-Based): Sized strictly by Asset height to prevent loose fabric safety risks or foot-restriction.

Size 1 (3–12 Months): Designed for Assets under 80 cm.
